DeLisa Glaspie, MSW, LMSW, has provided clinical leadership/supervision for The Eli Z. Rubin Children’s Wellness Clinic since 2016. As the Child, Youth & Family Services Clinical Program Director, she provides oversight for the daily operations of the following Wayne/Macomb Behavioral Health programs: Children’s/Adult Outpatient, Children’s Home-based, School-based Mental Health Initiative, Wraparound , Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and ASPIRE I/DD Services. DeLisa’s mental health experience includes extensive work with children that have significant emotional, behavioral, social and medical issues. She has specialized training with the Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) population, Trauma Informed Care and Therapeutic Foster Care.
DeLisa obtained her Master of Social Work Degree from Eastern Michigan University, specializing in Family and Children’s Service. She has 22 years’ experience in Child Welfare/Juvenile Justice programming, organizational leadership, program/policy development, community outreach initiatives, client/service advocacy, crisis intervention, clinical supervision and student intern development.
Additionally, DeLisa serves as a member of the City of Detroit’s Mayor’s Task Force and represents NEGC on the Children’s System Transformation committee and the Cross Systems Management workgroup via the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority.
