NEGC has a Baby Pantry – new items for new parents! Ask your case manager for a referral form if you need a stroller, bedding, rocker, bottles, baby swing and many other items.
Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency is a great resource for infant car seats, diapers and pack-n-plays and holds a Community Baby Shower twice a year for expectant parents or new parents with babies 3 months or younger.

The Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) enforces HUD’s lead-based paint regulations, provides public outreach and technical assistance, and conducts technical studies to help protect children and their families from health and safety hazards in the home. The overriding philosophy of the Supported Employment program is the belief that every person is capable of working competitively in the community if the right kind of job and work environment can be found. The focus of staff is on offering help to participants in finding and keeping jobs that capitalize on their personal strengths and motivation. What is Supported Education? Supported Education is a program that assists adult mental health consumers in achieving their educational goals. Since the program takes place on campus, the participants become more comfortable and better able to make the transition into a college environment. Students engage in many activities and exercises in the classroom that help build the skills necessary for individuals to succeed in higher learning.
