Kruise 4 Kids II
On Thursday, August 16, 2012, Northeast Guidance Center (NEGC) hosted its second annual fundraiser, Kruise 4 Kids II, aboard the Ovation Yacht. Community leaders and agency supporters gathered for a 2.5 hour cruise to raise funds for Children’s Services of NEGC. Nearly $60,000 was raised to benefit children and families who receive services at NEGC.
Special gratitude is extended the 127 attendees and 27 sponsors: Lear Corporation, Behavioral Health Professionals Incorporated (BHPI), PVS Chemicals, St. John Providence Health System, Advanced Care Pharmacy, Comerica Bank, Communicating Arts Credit Union, DAPCO Construction, Detroit Community Health Connection (DCHC), ECS McDonalds, Greektown Casino, Henry Ford Health System, Hungerford & Co., Key Bank, Lakeshore Group, MGM Grand Detroit, Midwest Health Plan, PCE Systems, Samaritan Center, Inc, Skillman Foundation, U Snap Bac, UAW Local 600, UAW-Chrysler National Training Center, UAW-Ford National Programs Center, Unique Expressions and Vision Security.
Proceeds raised from the event were used to purchase a fifteen passenger van which will be used transport child consumers to and from appointments at Children’s Services of NEGC, located at 20303 Kelly Road, Detroit, MI 48205.
